Watch as Nick Suzuki reacts to Montreal’s dominant 5-1 win to take 3-0 lead against Jets.

Suzuki spoke on confidence level for Montreal after securing third straight win against Winnipeg.

“You always feel good when you’re winning. It’s been a lot of fun coming to the rink and playing here especially. We have a lot of confidence, and just have to keep that going one more against these guys.”

Suzuki also discussed Montreal comeback after being down 3-1 against Toronto, and importance of keeping intensity for the remainder.

“We know the feeling of having your back against the wall there, and we know they’re gonna be coming out with a lot of intensity. We gotta match that, keep playing the same way. I think as a team we’re heading in the right direction, and we need to get the last win.”

Following one-year deal with Canadiens, Suzuki praised teammate Corey Perry’s incredible offensive performance during 2021 Stanley Cup playoffs.

“He’s been amazing ever since he came to the team. He really helps out the young guys, he’s a winner, he’s always been a winner. We can feed off that, learn from him, and he’s been one of our best players throughout the whole playoffs.”
